The game received numerous updates, most notably Sets, which added new action blocks, programmable actions, etc. Boldai was acquired by Linden Labs in 2013, and the game was released for iPhones and iPads on July 26, 2013, with the game later being ported to Steam on September 25th, 2017 with less features but improved graphics. The game was initially developed under Boldai under the codename Creative Builder, with a beta being released in 2012. As a result, Blocksworld largely disassociated itself with being a Minecraft clone: establishing itself as a unique take on the sandbox genre that allowed for people to make anything from simplistic blog worlds to massive art showcases. Players could Program blocks in order to do anything, ranging from pressing on a block to make it turn a different color, to making working cars & mechs. Its primary focus was that players could create worlds and create anything their heart desired, ranging from walking robots, to art showcases, and stories. Blocksworld was a 3D sandbox game developed by Boldai & published by Linden Labs for mobile devices & later desktop devices.
